FAQ |
What is included in my registration fee? Jersey, shorts, and socks are included with registration fees. Also included are equipment costs, materials, training, volunteer recognition and insurance.
What is not included? Players are required to provide their own shin guards and shoes. Cleats are not required at any level of AYSO. For safety, shin guards must be covered by socks.
Can I request a team or a coach? Players may request one friend to be on their team, but this is not guaranteed. Of course, coaches will coach their own children.
Can I play in a different age division? No players are allowed to play down in division. Special commissioner approval must be given to play up a division.
Can I get a refund? Refunds may be given to children who do not play or practice. No refunds will be given if the child has received a uniform. Special consideration may be given to children who are medically unable to play. Requests will be looked at on a case by case basis and must be approved by the board. Refunds will only be considered with a written request. The request must include the child's name, date of birth and a brief reason for the refund, along with a self addressed stamp envelope.
Mail the request to the following address:

How is the season determined? Fall season starts the Saturday after Labor Day and goes for 7 weeks. Spring Season is 7 games counting back from the Saturday before Memorial Day weekend.
What does the “U” mean in the U8 age division name? It means this is the division for children who are Under 8 Years old on August 1st.
Practice? Practice days and times for all divisions are determined by the coach. The recommended practice schedule is 1 per week. For the U5-U6 teams, it is recommended to have practice the first 20 minutes of the scheduled game time.
Why are the games divided into Quarters? Each registered child is entitled to play 1/2 of the game. Quarters make it easier to keep track of player time, and gives time for a quick drink on hot days.
